April 28th:
SNC 1:30 was to be
the time for our little caravan to meet at the "Top of the Hill". We all
must have wanted to get to Old Town early or something, by 1:10 we were

SCTNC What a great
night for a Cruise-In, the weather was just about perfect. As you may
have found out by now, Wal-Mart has leased the parking area that we use

13 Cars made it out to the "Square" tonight. ....See

SNC Steve Mc was
back in town so the plan for a "Top of the Hill" was set up for 1:15.
Mike, N4HHA, was out very early assisting in communications for the

April 20th: FNC
We almost had a dry cruise, but just before we hit the brick streets of
Old-Town it started to rain. Just enough to wet the cars. However it did
not stop the 166 cruisers that showed up to show their beautiful

The skies were a little overcast but the weatherman said no rain till
late evening. Jack was already parked in his favorite spot in his '65
Mustang at just after 4:00 when we arrived in "Elvira" our '60 Ranchero.

warm humid day, after last nights deluge of rain we were still under a
"Fire Weather Warning", much like the dry spring of '98. So, in my

The Weatherman said we had a 50% chance of rain tonight. Well, we sure

beautiful Easter Weekend, a little cool for Central Florida but bright
and Sunny!. 2 Corvairs and "Lucy" the '69 Ranchero headed for Old Town
