June 2004 Front page
Welcome to Steve Butler's Cruiser News On-Line.
The Summer months here in Florida
mean afternoon and evening storms. This is only a slight inconvenience
to most of the "Regulars" that come out in force to the area Cruise-In's.
It does not stop those that have included the Classic in their
vacations. Stop by any of the local Cruises, we love to show off our
cars, and talk about them.
June is the month of Anniversary
Cruises here in Central Florida. I attended
Mustang Mike's,
"Saint Cloud Thursday
Nite Cruise-In"
4th annual charity cruise. Over 100 cars were there even with the
Rain and threat of Thunderstorms this group of "Cruisers" turned over a
check for over $1,000 to the Osceola Children's Home and Youth Shelter.
Besides the great music provided
by Mustang Mike the "Dukes
of Harmony" sang a set for the crowd yes it was even raining. Many
Trophies were given in several categories.
People's Choice award went to
"Big John's" 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28. This 1,000 point diamond show
car was a definite head turner. He also donated the "Cruise-A-Matic' To
the Kids.
On Friday the 11th of June we
were amongst the 140 cars for the 6th Anniversary of "Old Town's" Friday
Nite Cruise. A Little rain did not stifle the crowd at all. Great time
had by all.
On Saturday Nite we headed out to
Old Town for the
14th Anniversary of "The Saturday Nite Cruise". The
Dukes of Harmony
along with the "Rockin'
Knights will be on the main stage right on "Trophy Row".
Please Check out the Story and
Photos for this great event on my
